Franco's career began at just 16, where he gained hands-on experience working with heavy machinery and in sewer systems—far from the typical teenage job. Over time, he expanded his expertise across various civil construction disciplines, eventually transitioning into estimation and project management. His passion for construction led him to spend five years spearheading the development of new retail stores across Canada and the U.S.
Recognizing a significant communication gap and the need for solutions between clients and construction professionals, Franco decided it was time for a change. In 2021, he co-founded Coreteq with Mariano, aiming to bridge that gap and deliver exceptional projects with a refined approach. Today, Franco leads Coreteq's project management efforts and oversees the estimation process, ensuring each project is carefully planned and executed to meet the company’s high standards.
With over a decade of experience in the construction industry, Mariano has worked on everything from simple repairs to complex renovations. Early in his career, he quickly rose to become an independent contractor, gaining hands-on expertise across a broad spectrum of projects. Specializing in areas like carpentry and finishing, Mariano honed the craft of perfecting the details that transform a house into a home.
After several years of running his own business, Mariano partnered with his trusted colleague and friend, Franco, to co-found Coreteq. Their shared vision and dedication to excellence in construction led to the creation of a company where quality is always a top priority. Today, Mariano oversees Coreteq’s diverse range of projects, ensuring that each one reflects the high standards the company is known for.
